Why has my subscription payment been refused?

Your payment must have been refused because there isn't enough money on your subscription card. Make sure to: 

  • Check that your current subscription plan isn't above the price set on your subscription budget card. If not, the payment will fail as Spendesk's cards are prepaid which means that they can only be charged with what's been loaded on the card. 
  • Check on your Subscriptions tab if the card's automatic reload has been done at the beginning of the month:
    • If the on-screen gauge is fully-coloured in green, it means that your card is sufficiently loaded according to your defined budget.
    • If the on-screen gauge is red and no payment has been made that month, it means that your card wasn't automatically reloaded at the beginning of the month. You'll then need to click on the "Reload your card" button.


🤓 In case of low balance on your card, Spendesk will automatically notify you via email.
